When I take the time to remember that I have been given the gift of the sacred energy of LIFE
I can sometimes move out of selfishness and lack to the wholeness of us all. We are all connected by the air we breathe, the roads we share, the food that is harvested, and the molecules and atoms within us.
At the hidden invisible parts of us, we are the same. Of course, I may have more fat in my list of ingredients and you more sodium, but essentially we’re the same.
So why do we get so angry at each other, or ourselves? What makes us turn on a dime, as the figure of speech goes, to be critical and condemning? What makes us forget the other’s inner beauty even though their outer, at the moment, is a pain in the…. you know.
I used to imagine, like in John Lennon’s song, that if we recognized our shared beauty, in the molecules of life, maybe we wouldn’t be so mean and hateful, IMAGINE…
