The most exciting science discovery to come out of biology – the STRINGS of our cells.

Underneath the glimmery shimmery membrane is a gossamer fabric reaching throughout the cell -from end to end, from the outer barrier to the core genes in the nucleus.

It is the FABRIC  that manages what the cell will do.

Sure the ‘mem-brain,’ as Bruce Lipton, would call it, is essential. but the membrane is only a listening post and a conduit for information and ingredients, in and out.  The cell membrane’s work is to act as boundary, barrier and bearer of identity plus antennae for chemical signals.

The strings in our cells decide which genes will be expressed.  And strings respond to sound. The decision-maker is the tautness or looseness of the strings within the fabric of our cells.

Balancing tightness,  tensions, and forces  is known as TENSEGRITY,

an architectural design term coined by the great Buckminster Fuller.

Science has finally given us an anatomical place and process in the cell that can respond to Energy and vibration, sound (naturally) but also movement, mind and breath.  HOORAY we can explain partially why ancient and sacred practices have lasted for generations – they do our cells good.

This fabric called the CYTOSKELETON likes to be taken out for walks, to stretch, to dance, prance, relax and unwind.  Doing yoga, weight lifting, swimming and tai chi all just some of the ways to strengthen and soften the strings of your cells.

Come stretch yourself at the

next Cells & the Sacred workshop.
