If you were going to create a geometric shape for water – what would it be?
When we look at the power and potential of water in nature, it takes many forms.
First of all, in its liquid form it is always in motion. It ripples and flows in the rivers, in our bloodstream. It moves up and down with the tides. It has power in the ocean waves and able to wear down any rocks blocking its way. When the temperature changes, in the cold, water freezes solid and in the heat it turns steamy.
I never gave water much thought other than I loved the ocean and longed to be near it, in it, when being in it was the warm Atlantic. Now I live near the Pacific Ocean and a river. Every week or so I like to walk over to the river’s edge and watch its constant flow and creatures floating on it.
For the next few weeks the Sun is traveling in the Water sign of Cancer. Water signs, symbolically and elementally, refer to the flow of our emotions, our soul, our deep intuitions. You may find yourself a bit more sensitive these days, even psychic.
So it was no accident that the mineral salt for the sign of Cancer is in the microscopic shape of a wave.
Since symbols speak to us of abstract concepts, the elemental symbols can inform us about a person’s inner nature. When I look at a water person’s astroelemental signature or code, it reveals some of the mysterious spiritual and psychological qualities of water.

PIC ELEMENTS
In this past year with the production of my MicroCosmic Wisdom Oracle cards, I had shifted from the elemental focus of the images and their geometric shapes to their almost magical use for self-reflection and divination. In fact, nowhere on my new website was there any mention of the Astroelemental Signature or code. That was remedied yesterday when I was asked to reflect on the differences between the Cosmic Code and the Astroelemental Code or signature of an individual.
The Cosmic Code uses the cards with a focus on the Big 3 of astrology, the sun, moon and rising signs. With the cards there is more of an emphasis on intuitive spiritual wisdom with some input about the elements. The Cosmic Code also includes the North Star.
The Astroelemental Code or Signature includes the Big 3 along with all the personal planets of a person’s birth chart. It is all wisdom of elements, no cards, only the images and the geometric signature or code. This kind of reading deciphers if there is a missing element or an excess of one. It then explores how to engage with the wisdom of those elements and remedy any elemental lack or excess.
Until the other day when I was asked to look at a client’s AstroElemental code in addition to her Cosmic Code, I had been overlooking the power of the original Astrolelemental readings in favor of the new Cosmic Code.
So for the next 6 people who order an Astroelemental reading I will also include their Cosmic Code with the cards.
