For me, science started with chemistry – molecules fascinated me.

Then I began to explore the chemistry of cells and followed their movements under a microscope.

WOW!

What the microscopic universe inside us looks like and can do is AMAZING!

And though I made my living as a medical scientist for decades, I evolved into what I am calling a ‘cellular mythologist’ who finds clues to stories hidden in our cellular design and molecules.

The stories in wine and taste reflect molecular design and poetry. The first book: Wine’s Hidden Beauty

The stories within our cells became “Cells and the Sacred.” Book two:  Secrets of Your Cells. This book bridges Science and Spirituality

  • What secrets and sacred knowledge could be hidden inside our cells?
  • What can the biology teach us about the essentials of life and living?
  • With science, art and artifacts from ancient traditions, we can discover mythic meaning in the life of our cells, our selves.

Our bodies contain trillions of microscopic cells living in relative harmony and mutual collaboration. It just might be that our cells know more than we thought. Now you can learn from them ways for the ‘good life.’

Creating Sanctuary for Yourself

How do you hold sanctuary for yourself in your every day life? Create a space or moment in which to connect to your nurturing sanctuary. For me, lighting a candle creates a sense of sanctuary, a special moment. A small table with a saved seashell, crystals, plants, people’s pictures. This space for holding objects that are special to you creates another focus for sanctuary.

And remember that each of your cells creates sanctuary for a bit of that light force we have been given by Hashem, The Great Mystery, God, Yahveh, Allah, name does not matter – touching what is sacred, special, a link to spirit is what creating SANCTUARY is all about.

Science is an imaginative adventure of the mind seeking truth in a world of mystery.
